Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team at UCS Advisors. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing new business relationships with potential clients, as well as maintaining existing relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business development principles, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, qualify, and engage potential clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and other key stakeholders
  • Participate in networking events, trade shows, and other business development activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and deliver customized solutions to meet client needs
  • Continuously research and monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Track all leads and deals into company CRM 
  • Attend weekly sales meetings with CEO and COO

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+  years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and closing new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of business development principles and best practices
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability to work with ZOOM, Google Docs, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Experience using Linkedin and other social media
  • Familiarity with CRM software
